For Jared Rutkoff, life has always been about resilience, family, and integrity. After serving as a detective with the Allied Riverside Cities Narcotics Enforcement Team, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in History from National University, graduating magna cum laude. Jared’s path hasn’t been without hardship—after the loss of his wife in 2018, he became a widowed father of two, dedicating himself to raising his children with strength and love. His proudest moment came when his son was accepted into UC San Diego, a milestone that represents the values of perseverance and education Jared has instilled in his family. Away from work, he finds joy in coaching youth baseball and softball, weightlifting, cooking, and reading science fiction. Whether in uniform or as a parent and mentor, Jared continues to embody the principles of dedication, learning, and compassion that have guided him throughout his life.
