Jared Rutkoff grew up in San Diego, California, where discipline, teamwork, and service were part of daily life. The son of a naval officer and a nurse, Jared learned early on the value of leadership and compassion. A graduate of Rancho Bernardo High School, he excelled in baseball, football, golf, and ice hockey, earning recognition for his focus and drive. After completing the Palomar College Police Academy in 2000—graduating with the Top Gun Award—he went on to serve his country as a U.S. Navy Gunners Mate (E5) from 2001 to 2005, receiving the Retired Officers Association Leadership Award. Following his honorable discharge, Jared began a new chapter in law enforcement, joining the Beaumont Police Department, where he later became a narcotics detective and was named Officer of the Year in 2007. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to service, discipline, and community.
